About Fred's Hospice Run
Event Details
This year’s event will begin at 11am on the 20th of April. We plan to set out from our home in Sandford (click here for a map) at 1pm taking in the following places en route to the beach lawns in Weston-Super-Mare:
- Depart Sandford at 1pm
- Ride through the picturesque Burrington Combe
- Across the Mendip hills
- Through Cheddar Gorge
- Picking up the A38
- Joining the A370
- Arrival at the beach lawns in Weston-Super-Mare
The entire event will be coordinated by our good friends at the Weston-Super-Mare MAG (Motorcycle Action Group) and will take approximately 1hr 15mins riding a distance of around 30 miles.
All bikes are welcome to the event whether you ride a two-wheeled machine or a trike.
Bikes will be charged £5 for the event with all proceeds going to Weston Hospice Care.
General Information:
At this year’s event we have a raffle with prizes ranging from booze to biker gear. Food will be served on-site in Sandford courtesy of a breakfast van providing full-English breakfasts, hot dogs, bacon rolls and tea and coffee.
We have toilets on-site and ample parking for all paying bikers.
